What the work actually is
Collecting household waste for pay means going to a specific address, loading bagged waste, and taking it to a legitimate disposal point. It is physical, it is local, and the economics are decided by two things: how far you travel per job, and how many jobs you can chain in one trip.
The informal version of this work already exists everywhere in Douala and Yaoundé. What a platform changes is how you find the jobs. Instead of waiting to be known in a neighbourhood, you see requests near you on a map.
What you need before you start
The bar is lower than most formal work and higher than 'show up'. In practice you need four things.

Why verification is strict

The rules that will cost you access
Two behaviours end a Collector account, and both exist for the same reason: they are how a bad actor would abuse the address disclosure.
First, cancelling repeatedly after accepting. Accept-then-cancel is how someone would collect addresses without ever doing a pickup, so beyond a small number of cancellations in a rolling week the credit is not refunded, and beyond a slightly higher number the account is suspended automatically.
Second, marking a job collected without proof. A pickup cannot be closed without a photo, and that photo is what any dispute is decided on. There is no route around it.
Neither rule is aimed at an honest Collector having a bad week. Both are aimed at making the abuse case expensive enough not to be worth attempting.
